The Printed Image is committed to helping in reduce the environmental impacts of printing and protecting the environment we operate in. We take our environmental commitments seriously and have gone to great lengths to reduce our carbon footprint and minimize any potential waste.

We are honoured to have recently been awarded the prestigious Gold Standard for our outstanding performance, distinguishing them as part of the top 5% of over 100,000 companies evaluated across 175 countries.

The Printed Image believes it is important to operate and achieve good environmental practices and is committed to protecting the environment and continual improvement of environmental performances by demonstration of the purchases and sale of sustainably managed resources, this is achieved by maintaining and complying with FSC Chain of Custody requirements.
The Printed Image are ISO 9001:2015 certified.
We actively seek to minimise our carbon footprint. In 2022 our Scope 1 GHG emissions were 3.98 tons of CO² equivalent, Scope 2 emissions were 78.27 tons of CO² equivalent and Scope 3 emissions were 647.17 tons of CO² equivalent. We achieved approximately a 10% reduction in these for 2023 and have similar targets in place for 2024 and 2025. We will commence more extensive Scope 3 emission monitoring and reduction actions in 2024
Materials
Waste Management
All waste from our factory floor, storage areas and offices is strictly segregated by waste type/stream and disposed of according to the type of waste in the most environmentally friendly method of disposal possible. In 2022 we generated 123.51 tonnes of waste. Of this total 114.44 tonnes were recovered. 92.7% of all waste generated at the facility is sustainably recycled. This percentage increased to 93.8% in 2023 and we have targets in place to improve this rate to above 95% by 2024. We operate a zero hazardous waste and chemical and zero PFAS site.
